Making Sourdough Starter From Scratch (Day 4)

What happened to the Day 3 video? Well after revisiting my notes, I realized that previously in the process of making my sourdough starter from scratch, I allowed the mixture of pineapple juice and flour to sit for 48 hours. So, there is no Day 3 video.

I know by now you might be a little confused. The good news is that if you were able to hang in there with me, you might have seen some signs of your sourdough starter coming to life. At the very least I hope there are some small bubbles were noticeable in your mixture. Unfortunately if you see no sign of life in your mixture by tomorrow (Day 5), you will have to discard the mixture and start the process all over again.

Tomorrow with my last video I will post detailed step by step instruction on making sourdough starter from scratch.

Dude, sourdough scears me! In fact, most bread baking completely confounds me. I even have a book that is like troubleshooting for baking, and I STILL have trouble with all the yeast breads. Best of luck

It is not as scary as one might think. :)
