About this Blog

Things have changed a bit here lately. I could have started a new blog but I did not. Visit back soon for the updates to this page. A friend and fellow blogger just called my blog a “Pro-Life Blog”- for now I will just leave you with that.
My name is Vlad and I am happy to welcome you to my blog.
I am an Affiliate Marketer and I would like to share with you my experience in this field. Whether you just begin your journey in affiliate marketing or are already “well seasoned” affiliate, you are welcomed here.
Affiliate Marketing has been an exciting journey for me. Much time and money I have spent along the journey to learn about affiliate marketing. While I treasure everything I that I have learned about affiliate marketing, I have to admit that along the way I spend some money foolishly on what suppose to be great e-books, sites and subscriptions. I hope that by sharing my experience, you will benefit from my advise.
If you are a “seasoned affiliate” and find anything on my site that is misleading please feel free to post your thoughts and correct me.
What is Affiliate Marketing?
Affiliate Marketing is a method of promoting on line businesses in which an affiliate is rewarded for every visitor, subscriber and/or customer provided through his efforts. In other words it is a modern version of the practice of paying “finder’s fees” for the introduction of new clients to a businesses. In affiliate businesses today compensation is based on certain value for each registrant (Pay Per Lead), or for each sale (Pay Per Sale) or combination of both. In the past Pay Per Click model was popular as well and still is today as for example with Google Adsence, where commission is based on whether or not an advertising was interacted with (”ad or banner was clicked”).
From the merchant point affiliate marketing is attractive because no payment is due until results are realized. That is affiliate is not payed until he brings new client or sale. Many businesses owe much of their growth and success to this marketing technique.
Merchants who are considering to implement an affiliate marketing model should research different solutions available to them: standalone software, hosted services, shopping carts with affiliate features and third party affiliate networks.
My Affiliate Journey is a member of two major affiliate networks: Commission Junction and Link Share. Visit any of these two sites to find more information on how you can participate either as a Merchant or as an Affiliate.
For Affiliate Managers
If you are looking to increase the number of affiliates in your program, I will be happy to feature an article about your affiliate program on my website. Many affiliates are on constant look out for the new and exiting opportunity!
You can either use the form below or e-mail me at vjsolutions@optonline.net. Please take time to describe your program. The more details you provide the better response you will receive. Considering a program, affiliates generally are looking for answers to the following questions:
How much will they able to earn with your affiliate program? What is the payout schedule? (Once a month, once a quarter)How are the payments made? (Direct Deposit, Check..)What do you offer in terms of linking? (Banners, Links to particular products, datafeeds..)What is your policy/restriction in terms of Pay Per Click advertising? How long doe it take to be approved? How do you help affiliates to track their sales/leads?How can you be contacted?
You may use above questions as a guide to describe your affiliate program, but please feel free to tell my visitors evrything and anything that makes your program stand out.
