Only in the most obscure corners of a liberal mind two completely opposite and contradictory ideas can be reconciled. Only such a mind can champion on behalf of the environment because the world we live in is God’s creation. Yet the same mind can justify killing an unborn child before it leaves the womb of it’s mother.
The same mind can justify destroying a human life in the embryo yet criminalize destruction of the bald eagle’s egg.
The same mind becomes disturbed with the horrors of wars, yet ignores the subject of death of the millions of babies each year through abortion.
Some graduates along with faculty at Notre Dame appeared to be under the spell. But it is not Notre Dame’s heretic faculty that is so troubling. Not even Obama’s contradictory and deceitful speech. It is the jeering of a student body, interrupting 20 times a speech that was neither intelligent or consistent, that is truly troubling.
The Notre Dame however only mirrors the sad state of affairs of our society- with millions ready to drink the kool-aid for the hands of crafty politicians. And Obama’s “kool-aid” surrounding the abortion debate will be hard to match in the years to come.
The liberal dopes on MSNBC and an other networks seemed to be having a fit over the turkey. It’s just amazing how much they really hate Palin.
How do you think a turkey ends up on your table on Thanksgiving Day? I certainly hope not through a heart attack!
It is mazing that Chris Matthews, Keith Olbermann and Rachel Maddow are so upset and outraged over a turkey as it was the most disgusting thing they have ever seen.
The truth is advocating the killing of babies who survived botched abortion is far more disturbing and disgusting. So yeas, let save the turkey! And let Obama advocate and promote the most evil agenda of baby killing.
As I commented on the blog post of a friend of mine, on my way from work this morning I prayed for Obama. I also prayed for American people, 52% of whom made grave mistake electing Mr. Obama to the office of the president of this country.
Politics are like swing of a pendulum on many levels. While Obama may have won the election, he had began loosing long before the ballots where cast.
As the president of this country, he will be changed to protect lives o millions of Americans across the globe. The problem is that Mr. Obama has no clue, or for the sake of his political career does not want to acknowledge the origin of life. I can’t trust anyone to protect my life when it is above his pay grade to know when my life began. I can’t trust anyone to protect my life who does not believe that my live is a great gift from God.
It has been reported that support for Obama was overwhelming among the minority groups. I believe firmly that if it was not for abortion, many minorities may in fact have become majorities. In New Jersey alone overwhelming majority of babies killed through abortion are black.
Obama’s opposition to “Born Alive Protection Act” is even more troubling. Born Alive Protection Act was designed to protect the lives of babies that were born during botched abortions. Not even one of the US senators opposed the legislation. Identical legislation was defeated in Illinois state senate by the opposition lead by then IL senator Barak Obama.
The irony of this election is that issue of abortion, the issue that Obama try to avoid or downplay unless he spoke to Planned Parenthood or other pro-abortion organizations, is the only issue Obama has been truly tested. His extreme pro-abortion view earned him 100% approval by organizations like NARAL.
No matter how much our media will try to deify Obama, his election is not a divine act but a mistake of millions of Americans.
I prayed that God will overlook our mistakes and to give us courage to recognize the times we have done wrong.
Obama is viewed by many as the most pro-abortion politician in the recent years. Hannity is detailing some aspects of Obama’s relationship to Planned Parenthood:
Barak Obama’s view on abortion are as extreme as it can get. He opposes the ban on partial birth abortion (aka late term abortion), parental notification and most of all Born Alive Infants Protection Act which is designed to protect children who were born as a result of a botched abortion with emergency care.
Sara Palin addressed these issues when asked about Obama’s claim “being a strong Christian family man”:
When a man says “I Made A Mistake”, not every one reacts to his statement in the same way. Some of us understand that it takes a mature man to face his past and admit that not everything he did was right. Some of us may look at this man as one who attempts to provoke a contemptuous sorrow for his misery or distress- some one who looks for pity. There are also some who will see in such a statement a hidden political agenda. Ms. Sarah Blustain may be an epitome of the latter two category of people, which is eloquently displayed in her latest writing at The Nation:
Pity the Man: The antiabortion movement has found a new face to exploit for political gain. And it’s male. By Sarah Blustain
Pity the man who conceived four babies with four women and suffered anxiety attacks and nightmares after all four, with his consent, were aborted. Pity the man who saw his soon-to-be-born baby on an ultrasound and instantly came to believe that he “had killed two of my own kids” through abortion. Pity the man who abused alcohol after his girlfriend aborted. Pity the man who suffered a nervous breakdown, depression, psychosis and nearly suicide after his girlfriend had an abortion despite his pleas…
Now we understand. Pity the man.
The four pages of somewhat angry criticism of pro-life movement by Ms. Blustain due to hit the stands this Monday on the pages of The Nation, but you can read her article online.
Evidently we both have attended the same conference in San Francisco- Reclaiming Fatherhood. However I tend to disagree with everything that Ms. Blustain had written in her latest article.
The men who took stand in front of few hundreds of people they have never seen in their lives, are truly courageous individuals who deserve admiration and respect but not pity. They told their stories without hype and exaggeration. They had the strength to acknowledge that abortion was their worst mistake. They had the wisdom to tell us that abortion was their ultimate delusion. They opened their hearts to show us that abortion was their biggest loss.
Every man who spoke in front of us reminded me of the Prodigal Son from the well known Jesus’ parable. In that parable, the Prodigal Son who found the courage to admit his mistake is not a hero. The true hero of that parable is the loving and forgiving Father.
Although these men took the stage and one by one acknowledged their mistakes, they themselves will tell you that they are not the heroes. They will tell you that the true hero in their story is the loving and forgiving God.
Those who would like to put a political spin on the issue are probably would love this to be just that a “political issue”. But it is not. The pain of abortion is not an illusion. It is real. The effect that abortion has on people’s lives is not imaginary, it is also real and often devastating. And men are not immune to neither.
I have already posted once in the past the video by Flipside. I think it is fitting to include it in this post as well. His song is the song of millions of men around the world.
No, Ms. Blustain it is not about the politics. It takes a Man to say “I made a mistake”.
Obama’s campaigning in Jersey City was all over the local news stations yesterday. Until recently black voters were split in their support between Clinton and Obama. But recent reports in the news seem to indicate that Obama is winning the support of black voters.
