Juno Delivers A Blow To Pro-Aborts At No Cost To Pro-Lifers
January 3, 2008
After viewing Juno, I have been keeping an eye on how the pro-abortion pundits will react to it. A review on Entertainment Weekly by Liza Schwarzbaum was one of the first to caught my eye. Surpassingly Ms. Schwarzbaum tone of review was not as harsh. Besides expressing regret over the fact that movie failed to point out that abortion is a “precious right” that “should be cherished” she called the movie a “delightful and good-hearted a portrait of the kind of new-generation”.
I have to admit that I enjoy seeing the pro-abortion side preoccupied over the movie. But I really wanted to see at least some of them go into a tailspin over it. My patience was rewarded. Arthur Shostak, a pro-aortion activist and a writer for RH Reality Check website, goes straight to the point in his review of Juno:
in its underlying condemnation of abortion on request, the film is a far more costly blow against abortion rights than anything the anti-abortion crowd could possibly hope for or ever produce - and they are big gainers (at no cost to them) from its sappy popularity
No other reviewer had nailed it so precisely as Mr. Shostak did. We on the pro-life side do benefit from it at no cost at all, which makes Mr. Shostak mad.
I think he and his pro-abortion friends would be thrilled if the movie was at least accompanied by the most recent despicable commercial from the largest death camp chain- Planned Parenthood:
By the way, did you know Planned Parenthood is using your tax money to produce these commercials?
