My Thoughts About Evolution

January 4th, 2008 by Vlad | Filed under Evolution.

Last couple of days I have come across number of articles, posts and comments all calling evolution a science. Every time I tried to challenge the author, my arguments were dismissed. So I have decided to address the issue on my blog. I may do it with a twist if you wish.

Since some of the defenders of of the doctrine (in my conscience I can not call it a science) of evolution, I think i should speak their language a little. I am proposing the following. Every modern day evolutionist is a direct descended of Karl Marx. Of course some of you may be offended by such a statement. But so am I, every time I hear you say that I descent from a chimpanzee.

Once upon a time in Ukraine, the country I grew up, at the time when it was still par of the USSR, the communist government had one agenda- to destroy any notion of God and religion. They got their “genius” idea fro no other than Marx, while the theory of evolution served them as a weapon to prove that there is no God. We now know the rest of the story. Regime is no longer there, and over the years of repression people in my country never stopped believing in God.

Wat amazes me that with so many advances in technology and science today, no one is able to reproduce anything of what the evolutionists propose in their theories. Thus unable to produce a single shred of evidence that their theories and doctrines are true.

On of my favorite writers G. K. Chesterton wrote that being evolutionist is very easy, you just need to stick to your error. While when the error occurs in a science, unless it is corrected the science invalidates itself. Imagine if rocket scientists would stick to their errors without attempting to correct them! We would never be able to fly a rocket to Mars.

Every time evolutions is mentioned, atheism and marxism follow.

I have read that the people that study the smallest elements of life (cells and elements that make up the cells) ….. and those that study the largest elements of life (the universe as a whole) generally come to the conclusion that there must be a God due to the fact there is too much organization and not enough randomness.

If you look at the theory of evolution from a statistical / mathematical viewpoint, it becomes an absolute impossibility – the odds of a life form forming on it’s own, then the odds of if changing successfully to another, and another to the billionth? degree????? – you see where that goes.

From a political perspective, all national governments that have denied the existence of a God have fallen. Although you can argue that it was economic instabilities, it’s interesting that each state the the Bishop of Rome visited, eventually was forced to open their doors and allow certain basic freedoms. I am now awaiting for Cuba to be set free.

    Lynn,

Having lived under the communist regime it bothers me a little that people in the free world like US would even consider accepting such doctrines- again I can’t call it science for the world of me.

Interesting thing is that evolutionists often talk about biology and cosmology to prove their point. However biologists and cosmologists themselves as you mentioned generally come to a different conclusion.

I also heard once (I am not sure it is true though) that every astronaut’s first word, reaching the orbit, was “Oh My God!”. :)

Whoever said that you’re a descendant of a chimp is an idiot. That or they have grossly misunderstood (as you have also done) the concept of evolution. Evolution in no way states that humans are descended from chimps, simply that we share a common ancestor; think of it as different breeds of dogs: German shepherd, Cocker Spaniel, and wolf. Obviously, they are not the same species, but they also all obviously share a common ancestor that no longer exists. We’ll call it Canis Extinctus. To say that Cocker Spaniels “descended” from German Shepherds isn’t true, to say that German Shepherd “descended” from wolves isn’t true, they are just branches on a tree, sharing the same root, namely Canis Extinctus.
I’m assuming you subscribe to the school of thought that believes that everything was magically created by an invisible, probably Antrophomorphic “divine” force that watches me masturbate and has deemed it fitting that anyone who eats shellfish should be stoned to death. You are free to believe whatever you want; I do not necessarily respect your beliefs, but I respect your right to them. However, acting on these beliefs and interfering with my government based upon your own personal delusions is crossing the line. Imagine if I was able to take away your freedom just because I read that I should on a fortune cookie, and any attempt at reason with me was thwarted entirely by my inpenetrable faith in that fortune cookie. I am free to believe in fortune cookies, but once I start electing tyrants into public office just because they pretend to share my fortune cookie delusion, that is where my beliefs have gotten out of control. The boy king is a killer, and you people gave him the power. As Christians, you should remove the murderer from office, just like as capitalists, we should remove money from our government.

    Sr. Lopez,

I do not believe I share the common ancestor with a chimp or any animal for that matter. Evolution is a theory nothing more. I dispute it is a correct theory.

I am fine with eating shellfish and really and have no idea what logic do you follow to mention masturbation???

I do not follow your second paragraph at all. You either have no idea where the Ukraine is, and also do not realize I do not live there. Ukraine has no boy king, never mind the on that killed some one….

Tell me how do I interfere with your government again? Oh, and what government are we talking about?

    Are you smocking something?

Your bible forbids the consumption of shellfish

Actually my bible :) does not forbid that. Besides I did not quote bible in this post at all.

So as oppose to us- the religious zealots- only those who believe in evolution will be able to save this planet?

    Prove evolution is false then.
All you need is one proof.
And who really gives a funk if it’s true or not, not gonna matter when you religious zealots turn this planet into a smoldering pile of ash.
Your bible forbids the consumption of shellfish. Why do you ignore that part while quoting others. accept the whole thing or none.

I am a strong christian. And I believe, that evolution is not ENTIRELY incorrect, but to some extent, various animal sub-species have decended from another species of the same type. Take Gray Wolves for instence. The Red Wolf, and pretty much all the other breeds of wolf, have decended from the Gray Wolves. HOWEVER, I completely agree that the Big Bang theory is a complete and total nonsense. Along with the fact that some scientists believe that we decended from MONKEYS! I find that mildly insulting. Aftar all, God the father created Adam and Eve, the first people, to control and keep the world that He created. Like I said, im a person who knows… ALOT. If you truely wish to mail me and discuss the matter, too bad. I will not and cannot give out any personal information.

Until the next time I visit this site,
