Ongoing: PRWeb Trackbacks
May 22nd, 2007 by Vlad | Filed under Other (Fom Old Blog).Since being introduced to PRWeb trackbacks, I have been referencing quiet often press releases on this and my other blogs. While you may not receive a trackback from every single press release I have been complying a list of PRWeb Authors, from who’s releases I have received trackacks either immediately in cases when the author of a press release choses give trackbacks automatically, or those authors who have given me trackbacks few days after referencing thier press releases.
Please remember that the authors of press releases at PRWeb can decide on how trackbacks are approved and this can change from one press release to another.
So here is my list:
- Kathy Sheehan, PRWeb- the Online Visibility Company. Kathy takes care of all the exciting news on PRWeb and her press releases seem to be giving trackbacks to bloggers automatically. I have referenced several of her press releases on this blog. Take a look the following press release about PRWeb Easy Submit (a PR 6 page)- there is a trackback to my blog.
- Angela Mithell writes press releases on behalf of Yugster. There is currently only one press release by Angela, but that was one the first press releases that I have attempted to receive a trackback. Trackback was given automatically.
- Ken McGaffin writes press releases on behalf of of Wordtracker. The trackback was given automatically.
- Erica Forrette writes press releases on behalf of Adapt Technologies. I have referenced only one out of four press releases by Erica. The press release I have referenced was not enabled to automatically approve tracebacks, but after chatting with Erica I asked to to approve the trackback from the following press release.
- David Meerman Scott, some of his press releases give trakcbacks automatically.
- Randy Zlobec writes press releases on behalf of The Hoffman Group. If you blog about real estate (in particular about Myrtle Beach Real Estae)- tracebacks approved by the author of press release.
- Peter Ejtel writes press releases on behalf of SharedReviews.com, trackbacks are given automatically.
- Last but not least yours truly. I use PRWeb to give an extra push to my Web Hosting Review Blog. While I approve all trackbacks manually, I discriminate only against “splogs” and “shady websites”, if you have a blog and would like to receive a trackback from following press release, just reference this press release on you blog by linking to it- a web hosting related website or blog a BIG PLUS. Make sure that your post’s pingbacks are enabled. I generally check the statistics of my press releases once a day and your track back should appear within 24 hours of posting on your blog- if this does not happen do not hesitate to contact me.
The reason I have decided to compile a list of PRWeb Authors who gave me trackbacks in the past is that I will keep an eye on their future press releases and are very likely to write about their products again in the future. Are you a using PRWeb? If so, I highly recommend to use the power of trackbacks to generate an extra buzz in the blogosphere about your company and its products! And please stop by later to let me and my readers know that you have enabled trackbacks in your press releases.
