Welcome to the first edition Pro-Life Blog Carnival. Thank you for every one who took time to suggest the articles below to be included in this edition. If you feel that there was a article worth mentioning please submit it for the next edition.

If you are the author of any of the posts below, consider this as my way to thank you personally for your blog. If you are regular reader or some one that just stumbled to my blog I highly recommend to read the posts listed below. I hope every one finds the articles useful and educational.

abortion

Woman gets 15 years for 2nd degree murder of her preborn baby posted at jillstanek.com: “On December 21, 31-year-old Theresa Lee Hernandez was sentenced to 15 years in prison in an Oklahoma court after pleading guilty to 2nd degree murder for causing her 8-month-old baby’s stillbirth in 2004 by using methamphetamine while pregnant.”

How empowering is it? posted at The S.I.C.L.E: “A man is never asked about his past abortions when visiting a doctor. Woman is asked this question even during unrelated visits to doctors.”

The Problems With Huckabee posted at MInTheGap. While everyone is dancing around Huckabee these days, MInTheGap, is questioning whether or not we are missing something. The author points out Ann Coulter’s write up on the issue.

embryonic research

Is a Blastocyst an Embryo? posted at Flash Point: “Be careful not to be confused by those who support the pursuit of embryonic stem cell research. I see them deliberately moving between the use of terms like ‘blastocyst’ and ‘embryo’ in order to create confusion because if you believe an embryo is a human being, but don’t believe a blastocyst is yet an embryo, why would you object to this area of research?”

euthanasia

The Cost of the Call posted at Robert’s Legacy: “JHS, Esq. spent six years litigating the plight of Robert Wendland, a disabled California man whose wife wanted to remove his feeding tube, thereby bringing about his death. In this series of articles about her experiences, she discusses the journey to a victory before the California Supreme Court and the toll it took on ALL involved in the case. The story of Robert Wendland is a cautionary tale, emphasizing the need for all competent adults to detail their post-competency desires regarding ongoing care, treatment, and who should be responsible for making medical treatment decisions.”
