Governments worldwide are labeling “The Wagner Group” as a terrorist organization. However, the Orthodox blog called “Monomakhos” paradoxically lauds these individuals as heroes, despite their violent and murderous actions.
The portrayal of the takeover of Bakhumut, a town that is now all but ruins, as a victory is very likely a directive from the Kremlin. Monomakhos blogs have consistently acted as a platform for Putin’s propaganda, but their support for the Wagner Group represents a disturbing new level of endorsement. Not to mention that group’s founder is on FBI wanted list.
Russia and Wagnger group in particular have committed countless war crimes. It’s unthinkable that anyone claiming to be a Christian would glorify such a group.
